On July 12, 2007, Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler announced that Kerioth was chosen to develop the Madison Town Square.

The $150 million to $200 million project calls for a hotel, retail space, restaurants and condominiums. Madison also plans to include a new City Hall, fine arts center and open space for outdoor festivals.

The development will be built where Main Street (Mississippi 463) and U.S. 51 meet, on the 17-acre site of the old Madison Station Elementary School.
